Bridge Fire, Auburn, California

Sparked beneath the Foresthill Bridge in Placer County, California on September 5th, 2021, I visited and photographed the area affected by the wildfire a few months later in November of 2021. There were some areas within the burn scar that showed signs of recovery after recent rain, while other ecosystems had been more intensely damaged. I hope to revisit and document this location over time.
